همزمان محمود احمدی نژاد، رئیس جمهور از نحوه رسیدگی به بزرگترین پرونده فساد مالی ایران انتقاد کرده و گفته است: "بانکی که تخلف در آن صورت گرفته، الآن در حاشیه است و رئیس خاطی این بانک نیز طلبکارانه علیه دولت موضع می گیرد".
