مسوول برگزاری نمایشگاه كالاهای سوری در تهران با تاكید بر این كه این نمایشگاه شامل همه صنایع سوریه بوده و یك فرصت حقیقی برای سوریه است تا وارد بازارهای ایران شود ، ادامه داد : بیش از 60 درصد از شركت ها و تولیدكنندگان حاضر در نمایشگاه كالاهای سوری در تهران را بخش های نساجی و البسه تشكیل می دهند و این به خاطر شهرت صنایع نساجی و لباس در سوریه است .

حمود افزود : صنایع غذایی ، پوست و پتروشیمی و مواد شیمیایی و لوازم آرایشی نیز بخش دیگری از این نمایشگاه را تشكیل می دهد.

مسوول برگزاری نمایشگاه ها در سوریه كه مسوولیت برگزاری نمایشگاه كالاهای سوری را در تهران نیز بر عهده دارد، گفت : كالاهای سوری ارائه شده در نمایشگاه تهران دارای بهترین كیفیت است و با توجه به این كه بدون واسطه می تواند در اختیار تجار و بازرگانان ایرانی قرار گیرد، قیمت آن نیز مناسب است.

حمود خاطر نشان كرد : دیدار و گفت و گو بین طرف های اقتصادی سوری و ایرانی بخش دیگر از برنامه های جنبی نمایشگاه مزبور را تشكیل می دهد و قرار است وزرای دو كشور نمایشگاه كالاهای سوری را در تهران افتتاح كنند.

'محمد نضال الشعار ' وزیر اقتصاد و بازرگانی سوریه و 'مهدی غضنفری ' وزیر صنایع ایران نمایشگاه مزبور را افتتاح می كنند.

اولین نمایشگاه اختصاصی كالاهای سوریه در تهران از 9 تا 13 اردیبهشت ماه به مدت پنج روز در محل دائمی نمایشگاه های بین المللی تهران برگزار می شود.

مسوول برگزاری نمایشگاه كالاهای سوری در تهران گفت كه دیدار تجار و بازرگانان سوری با مسوولان اتاق های بازرگانی و دست اندركاران اقتصادی ایران از جمله 'محمد نهاوندیان' رییس اتاق بازرگانی ایران و مسوولان مناطق آزاد ایران بخش دیگر برنامه های جنبی نمایشگاه كالاهای سوری در ایران را تشكیل می دهد .

وی اظهار داشت كه به دنبال برگزاری نمایشگاه مزبور در تهران نیز قرار است نمایشگاه مشابهی از سوی طرف های اقتصادی و تولیدكنندگان و شركت های ایرانی در سوریه و در آینده نزدیك در دمشق برگزار شود.

این مسوول سوری خاطر نشان كرد كه با توجه به وجود زمینه های گردشگری زیاد در سوریه، این نمایشگاه همچنین دارای یك بخش فرهنگی و گردشگری نیز خواهد بود و طی آن زمینه های گردشگری در سوریه به بازدیدكنندگان بیش از پیش شناسانده خواهد شد.

ایران و سوریه در جریان برگزاری آخرین كمیسیون عالی دو كشور در اسفند ماه 1389 در تهران سطح پنج میلیارد دلار را به عنوان افق همكاری های اقتصادی در نظر گرفته اند.

اكنون میزان مبادلات دو كشور حدود 400 میلیون دلار است و این رقم جدای از صادرات خدمات فنی و مهندسی جمهوری اسلامی ایران به سوریه به میزان 7/1 (یك ممیز هفت) میلیارد دلار است.

ایران و سوریه در سال های اخیر برای افزایش مناسبات تجاری و همسطح سازی آن با روابط سیاسی راهبردی تهران - دمشق تلاش كرده اند.

در این ارتباط موافقتنامه تجارت آزاد بین جمهوری اسلامی ایران و سوریه هم پس تصویب و طی مراحل قانونی در دو كشور از اوایل اسفند ماه سال 1390 اجرایی شد.
